DORA, towards a cyber-resilient financial sector
The European Regulation on digital operational resilience for the financial sector (DORA) is due to come into force on 17 January 2025 and sets uniform cybersecurity requirements for the financial sector in all EU Member States. "Thanks to the harmonised legal requirements we have adopted today, our financial sector will be better able to continue to function at all times. If a large-scale attack is launched against the European financial sector, we will be prepared for it," said Zbyněk Stanjura, Finance Minister of the Czech Republic.
